I was raised on a small farm in Oregon. I started my life as an entertainer by providing dinner music for the cows as they chomped on their hay! This drove my older brothers nuts.:-)
Then I went off to study theater, music composition, piano, pipe organ, string bass, guitar, and a variety of other instruments. Eventually, I completed my Bachelor of Science degree in Music at Western Oregon University.
I’m fortunate to have held many long- and short-term engagements as a variety entertainer. I’ve done this by performing excellent comedy magic and music for amusement parks, ski resorts, theaters, festivals, and colleges.
For seven years Silverton Hospital contracted me as a “Laughter and Magic Therapist!” To do this, I incorporated comedy and wonder as a means of pain and stress management for patients.
I have six children of my own and have experience working with children/adults with special needs. I have also worked for several years with Camp Horizon, performing for children in foster care who have experienced trauma.
I’ve been performing magic professionally since 1987 to audiences around the globe. I currently lives with my wife of 39 years, Beverly, with our dogs.
I also serve in a variety of ways with my home church.
